Sorry for the silence. Even though I have been quiet I have been working.
A lot of you are understandably upset. I just checked my messages and a few of you have requested refunds. If after you read this update you still want one I will honor your request.
So where are we? I have only 2 of the original sculpts left to finish. Yngolin and Bol'Logoth. Bol'Logoth has not progressed past the last update pic I posted of him a while back, Yngolin however is cruising along, please see the progress pic below.
I also have checked my comment section and there was a comment saying that I was busy sculpting and printing other minis not related to this kickstarter. That is True. Please let me explain.
When the covid shut down hit I was a little bit behind but not enough to affect my deadline. I was not prepared for the shut down. I don't know anybody that was. Money was already tight and I burned through my savings in the first month. (I ended up being off work roughly 5 months) I had no option to go back to my past day job of tattooing because of the shut down so I had to figure out a way to make money sculpting. I started a Patreon and Etsy.
I thought I could work on the kickstarter and the Patreon stuff at the same time but it ended up being too much. I did quite a few 3rd party sculpts of a space bug army. Almost a complete army truth be told. The Patreon took priority because I needed money to live. That money went to food, rent and other bills. That is what put me behind. Once the health dept cleared tattoo shops to open I went back to my day job and got rid of the Patreon. I kept the Etsy but only sculpted one new STL file and focused on tattooing to build my bank act back up. So I am back to tattooing full time. I sculpt in the morning on Kickstarter stuff.
There is no way I would do all that sculpting on non kickstarter stuff if I did not have to. There is also no way I would do all that sculpting and not share it with you all.
You will find in your email files for Falmaan, Fel'nigh, Rholenthir, Illandir and entire space bug army containing 29 unique sculpts, several of which are large monsters.
If you paid for resin models you will be receiving a few of these models in addition to the ones you are owed.
I will be starting the mailing process for resin models in a few weeks. I will be sending them in batches as follows:
Argaleth will ship first by itself. He is about the same mass as 4 of the dragons by himself.
Seris, Falmaan, Vulvathir, Baby Mudshark, Dangerous Thought and Ugath will all ship together next.
Rholenthir, Yngolin, Illandir, Fel'nigh, and Wyvern will ship together.
Bol'Logoth will be the last to ship, again because of size.
Retailers can expect to have their rewards at the same time as I ship regular backers items.
I am trying my hardest to get Argaleth in the mail in the next 2 weeks, its going to be close. But that is my goal. The other 2 waves should be a few months apart as I finish the rest of the prints.
If you live in my area and want to see what the models look like in person, I have a booth at Artbeat in downtown South Bend, Indiana Saturday August 21 and I also have a booth at the Hall of Heroes Comic Con in Elkhart, Indiana September 4-5. I will have all the finished kickstarter prints on display but they will not be for sale as I want to make sure you all have your dragons first.
Make sure to check your spam if you do not see your file links
Lastly, thank you for your patience.
David.

Just a quick update.
We are still chugging away on sculpts and prints.
-The large scale sculpt of Argaleth (over 24” when printed and assembled for large format printers) is finished.
-We still need to make a small scale version of him for small/regular size printers like a Photon S.
-The full size version has 40 parts and I am sure you will understand why when you see the finished full size prototype pic bellow. So that means we need to make some cohesive assembly instructions. That being said we are trying to cut down the parts count for the smaller format version.
-Vulvathir has all sculpting finished and we are 80% done printing the resin models.
-Falmaan and Illandir were sculpted before the start of the kickstarter launched and were sculpted as a single solid piece with only the minimal amount of detail. We went in on Falmaan, resculpted and defined the detail and broke him up into pieces for easy printing and assembly.
-Illandir has gone through the same process. Sculpt wise all that is left is his one wing and body which still need to be cleaned up and pins added to all parts.
-Argaleth is the next to start being printed after Vulvathir is finished. More than likely tomorrow night we will start running Argaleth.
-One thing that I view as a ”bad” thing is we had to ditch the snap together function. We found that because we are working with resin and not plastic (with some smaller and some larger parts) it became a structural weekness or just did not work at all on smaller pieces. So we are using a standard keyed peg and hole system. This means glue for assembly. For glue we have had a lot of success with several brands of super glue and will provide a list of glue brands we know will work.
-To make up for this we have a Wyvern sculpt that we are including as well as a fantasy shop keep set.
We have been updating the Instagram a bit more frequently just out if ease of logging in and posting quickly. Moving forward we will be doing small quick updates there and the longer more indepth updates here.

Thanks for being patient and enjoy the progress pics bellow.

The machines have been rolling out the corrected Ugath figures and I am almost done printing the Left hand wings for Seris.
New Ugath prints
Figures packaged in the box are the before mentioned misprints that the new print run are replacing.
The Kelant s400 that I print the wings on finally developed some dead pixels mid week but I got a replacement screen in today so I should have the screen replaced probably on Wed and production will start back up on the wings.
I think Vulvathir is done. I have what I hope to be the final test print running tonight and if all looks good in the morning I should be posting the STL’s tomorrow and can move on to Argaleth who will be the next STL release.
Stay safe and heathy
David

Just a quick note on current progress.
All the baby mudsharks are done being printed and I started reprinting the Ugaths. You will notice that the colors are slightly different between batches. Some of you that print at home know that getting resin was touch and go a few months ago and I ended up having to switch brands to keep production moving.
On the sculpting front Vulvathir is almost finished. I am just dialing in the snap together feature. Currently it fits too tight and I should have it worked out in the next day or two so expect him to be the next STL to be released.
